EIGHT SCHOOLS TO COMPETE IN FINALS OF JUNIOR CHOIR FESTIVAL COMPETITION

On Saturday, November 26, eight Primary schools will compete for first place in the finals of the Junior Choir Festival Competition.

The event, which is being hosted by the Courtez Blackett Production Association, in collaboration with the Barbados National Council of Parent Teachers Association, is being held at the Queens College School, Husbands, St. James, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

In honour of our island’s 50th anniversary of Independence, the choirs will sing two songs, one of which must be Barbadian.

The schools which will be vying for the winning spot are: St. Ursuline Convent; St. Angela’s Primary; St. Cyprians Primary; Grazettes Primary; Bay Primary; Belmont Primary; Grantley Prescod Primary and defending champions, People’s Cathedral Primary.
